NHL Winter Classic
The NHL Winter Classic is an annual event in which one of the league’s outdoor games is played. It began in 2008, and has been held every year since. The game is usually played on New Year’s Day, or on the first Sunday of January.

NHL Awards
The National Hockey League awards are presented annually to recognize individual achievement in the sport of hockey. The awards were first handed out at the end of the 1917-18 season, and have been given out every year since. There are a total of 28 different award categories, ranging from MVP to Rookie of the Year to Coach of the Year.
