This Video Should Help:
Hey everyone! Simon Motew here, and today I’m going to be giving you my thoughts on the NHL draft. First off, let me say that I am a huge fan of the sport of hockey and I’m excited for this year’s draft. With that said, I wanted to give you all some insights on some players who may be worth taking a look at in your fantasy hockey leagues. Without further ado, let’s get started!
First up is Russian center Pavel Zacha. Pavel is a skilled player with good speed and agility. He has shown he can score goals both from close range and from further out. He also has good vision and passing skills which could make him an interesting fantasy option down the road. Another player to keep an eye on is Swedish defenseman Oscar Lindberg. Oscar is a rangy defender who can play physical as well as skate well enough to stay with most forwards in the league. His upside may be limited by his lack of experience but he could provide value in dynasty leagues if he pans out over time

Simon Motew: NHL Draft
It’s that time of year again! The NHL Draft is upon us and teams are gearing up to make their selections. For some, it’s a chance to rebuild and add young talent to the mix. For others, it’s an opportunity to add depth and improve their chances for a playoff run.
No matter what the motivation, the draft is always an exciting time for hockey fans. And this year promises to be no different, with plenty of top prospects available. So who will go where? Let’s take a look at some of the top names in this year’s class.
Nolan Patrick is widely considered to be the best player in this year’s draft class. A center from Brandon, Manitoba, Patrick put up 102 points in 72 games last season for the Wheat Kings. He’s a big body (6’3″, 200 pounds) with good speed and excellent vision on the ice. He has all the makings of a future star in the NHL and should be a top-five pick come June 23rd.
Another player to keep an eye on is Nico Hischier. A native of Switzerland, Hischier plays center for Halifax in the QMJHL and put up 86 points in 57 games last season. He’s an outstanding skater with great puck skills and creativity. Hischier is projected to go anywhere from 5th-10th overall come draft day.
Lias Andersson is another name you’ll hear on draft night. A 6’2″ center from Sweden, Andersson captained his country at both the Under-18 World Championships and Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament last summer. He’s a smart two-way player with good size and strength who projects as a solid middle-six forward at the NHL level. Look for him to go somewhere in the 10-15 range on draft night..
