Who Leads the NHL in Goals?

As of the 2018-2019 NHL season, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks leads the National Hockey League (NHL) in goals. He is followed by Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers.
Jamie Benn
As of the end of the 2017-2018 regular season, Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn leads the NHL in goals. Benn racked up 41 goals over the course of the season, putting him ahead of such players as Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby, who had 29, and Edmonton’s Connor McDavid, who had 28.

As of March 5th, 2019, Jeff Skinner leads the NHL in goals with 40. He is closely followed by Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Kane, and Leon Draisaitl, who have all scored 39 goals so far this season.
